O.U.R
Rescue Mission
Operation Underground Railroad (O.U.R) is a United States-based, anti-sex trafficking nonprofit organization founded by Tim Ballard.
O.U.R works with local law enforcement and some overseas, to orchestrate and execute sting operations to take down sex traffickers, and rescue the innocent.
When I learned about O.U.R it was a cause that touched my heart like nothing else. O.U.R. goes into very dangerous situations to rescue vulnerable women and innocent children. They literally put their lives on the line as they encounter the most despicable and dangerous scum in order to rescue the vulnerable from slavery. These innocent women and children who have unjustly had every ounce of freedom taken from them would otherwise have no hope.
But through their rescue operations, O.U.R. gives them their lives and freedom back. Also, very importantly, they provide plenty of aftercare and therapy for their wellbeing.
Acknowledging the amount of freedom I have in the face of sex trafficking is truly humbling and it reminds me of the huge responsibility we all bear as freedom lovers — our very values commission us to protect and preserve the rights and freedoms of the innocent.
I believe that through collective action, we can make a lasting difference in the lives of those who need it the most. I would love for us to come together as a community to bless them with the funds they need to continue their work.
My goal is to raise them $50,000 dollars. Are you up for the challenge?
