Meet KK
Carole Thompson:
Curator of Escape with KK
Hi, I’m KK.
For over two decades, I’ve had the privilege of helping people from all walks of life reconnect with themselves.
Some arrive carrying stress.
Others, living with pain, burnout, or simply feeling disconnected from their bodies.
My work has never been about creating the perfect body—
it’s about helping people feel at home in their own again.
Through it all, one thing has remained constant.
People leave feeling lighter.
Stronger. Calmer. More confident.
More like themselves.
Escape with KK was created as a place where you can pause, breathe, move, restore and reconnect with who you are—without pressure or judgement.
My journey into wellness
KK is a wellness practitioner, movement coach, massage and bodywork therapist with over two decades of experience across fitness, spa, retreat and holistic wellbeing spaces.
Her trained background brings together mind/body and fitness coaching, dance movement therapy, breath-work,, massage and therapeutic spa bodywork.
This wide-ranging experience allows her to support the body as a whole—through strength, mobility, relaxation, nervous system balance and deeper self-connection.
KK’s journey has taken her around the world, working in luxury wellness resorts, private retreats, fitness studios, spa environments and one-to-one client settings.
Her experience includes Gaia Retreat & Spa, Six Senses Spas & Resorts, The Aman resorts, Club Med and private wellness spaces across Europe, Asia and Australia.

Mission & values
Honesty before sales
If a retreat isn't right for you, you'll be told — even when it costs us the booking.
Bodies, not ideals
Programmes are built for the body you have today, at the age and stage you're in.
Fewer, longer journeys
One considered week beats four rushed weekends, for you and for the places we visit.
Care after the flight home
Integration is where the change is won, so support continues for twelve weeks.
My Philosophy
Create the right environment — movement, breath, touch, nature, stillness — and reconnection stops being work. The escape isn't from your life. It's back into it.
