Do you ever wonder if you are where you should be right now?...
I know personally - and especially with all the crazy recent world events happening - I have questioned myself a lot about where I am going?... What am I doing?... and even, who am I really?
When faced with challenges, the uncertainties of life makes us question who we are... what we do... and where we want to go... Which is not such a bad thing, but when fear and overwhelm is involved it tends to steer up negative patterns in us that cause us to procrastinate. And with that action .. or should I say 'non action" comes bouts of doubt that tend to keep us stuck in a rut.
Recognizing this pattern without beating ourselves up over it, is the first step towards moving forward productively and positively with our life with love and without fear.
I find that having an affirmation can help me when I am feeling overwhelmed with life's challenges or clueless as to knowing where I am heading. I reflect on what it is that's hold me back or lowering my my self-esteem.
And I thought I would share it with you with hope that you may find it useful. I have this printed out and pinned in my home and it reassures me that I am right where I need to be and that everything is happening in light and flow of my journey.
If you would like to receive this as a beautiful wallpaper that you can download and use also, leave your details here and I will send it to you with pleasure.
So this is what I affirm when I need to boost my confidence and take care of myself :-
I know that I am living the right life for me. I know that I am on the right path. I am choosing a life that resonates with my interests and values.
I am optimistic about my future. Everything is falling into place.
My internal motivation is proof that I am making the right choices. I love my life and the road that I have chosen. The direction of my life appeals to me on every level.
I feel alive, free, and confident. My life has a lot in store for me. I am excited to see where this journey takes me.
Others may have their doubts about the choices I am making for myself. That is okay with me. I am only concerned with living my life and satisfying myself.
I can only please myself, and I am comfortable with that fact. I am comfortable with my choices.
I allow others to make their own choices and wish them well. I believe that everyone is obligated to take responsibility for the life they choose to live.
Today, I am refocusing my efforts. I am even more confident about the choices I have made. I am on the right path for me, and that is making all the difference.
And then I have some self-Reflection Questions:
What do I want to do with my life?
How can I be confident that this is the right choice for me?
What are my primary values?
Does the path I am on support my values?
What concerns do I have about the direction of my life?
What can I do about those concerns?
Now as the saying goes... "Go forth on your path, as it exists only through YOUR walking.
